Did you know that every living on Earth, from plants and animals to bacteria and fungi, is made up of tiny units called cells? Each cell has its own important job to do, and they work together to keep us alive and healthy.
In this mini unit study, we go over some of the common Human Body Cells such as the Red Blood Cell, White Blood Cell, Nerve Cell, Muscle Cell and Skin Cell. The unit has a "How to Draw" page where we teach you, step by step, how to draw all of the cells mentioned above.
There is also a Parts of a Cell diagram, pointing out some of the main parts such as the Cell Membrane, Mitochondria, Cytoplasm, Nucleus and Ribosomes. There is a student page labeling diagram to go with this.
Finally, there is a Copy and Paste activity. We have given you some of the parts of the cell mentioned above, and students can either colour and cut or simply cut out the coloured versions and create their own cell.
