Our Alphabet Starter Bundle gives your preschooler or kindergartener many ways to meet each letter, using their hands as well as their eyes. Learning happens through touch and repetition, so each piece is a different way to practice.
Start with the 2 inch uppercase and/or lowercase discs, which are great for matching, sorting, and building familiarity with both forms of each letter. Press the alphabet dough stampers into play dough to make imprinted letters and strengthen little hands. Have them trace the imprinted letter with their finger to help introduce them to its shape.
When your child is ready to practice writing formation, the dry erase alphabet tracing board lets them trace, wipe, and try again as many times as they like, with no wasted paper.
Our optional 3 part tray ties it together: place a letter disc on the left, stamp the letter into dough in the centre, and have them trace it in salt or sand on the right. The same letter gets seen, pressed, and written in one sequence.
The optional wooden tracing boards add letter grooves for a quiet, tactile finger or stylus tracing practice, and another spot to match upper to lowercase (match the discs to the board).
